This course provides an overview of yoga philosophy and the key texts, followed by in depth lectures and contemplations of the yamas and niyamas. The course explains why it is important for a Western Yoga practitioner or teacher to study these wisdom teachings and addresses how these limbs can be integrated into the yoga class. Exercises and journaling prompts provide inspiration to process and forge a deeper understanding of the material.
